I miss you every day… Nothing makes sense without you, mama!” He fondly remembered her smile, laugh, hugs, and kisses, and shared his pain over her absence.
Wizkid’s mother, Jane Dolapo, passed away on August 18, 2023, and was laid to rest on October 13, 2023.
She was a pivotal figure in his life and career, often attending his concerts and providing support, as highlighted in his song “Joy.”
